St. John's is a caring place where everyone can live, learn and grow together in Christ.

We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:45 to discuss Luther's Small Catechism, the Lord's Prayer, the Apostles' Creed, and what it means to be Lutheran.  We accomplish this through group discussions and activities.  We approach this learning process in three parts:  worship, learning, and service.

In worship, we gather with the rest of the congregation to worship God.  Later when we meet, we explore different parts of the service and their relevance and importance within the service.

In learning, we discuss parts of the service and their importance in worship.  We also discuss various parts of our faith and Lutheran tradition (Luther's Small Catechism, the Lord's Prayer, the Apostles' Creed) as well as other topics brought up by those present.

In service we find projects within the community which we can not only assist the community but discuss learning opportunities.

We expect Service notes to be completed each week unless otherwise announced.  Blank sheets can be found outside Pastor Peg's office.  These can be completed regardless of the church which the student attends.  Click here to print a copy from home to take with you.

We expect the students to participate and be present.  Many times the question you may be thinking of is on someone else's mind.  Ask away!
