St. John's

Sunday School

We have Sunday School for kids in preschool-8th grade. We meet together on the lower level of the church at 9:15 every Sunday during the school year for an opening program with our pastors. Then we break off into different age groups for fun, games, and study (and sometimes even snacks!).

Confirmation is the center point of our Sunday morning education. Here kids will learn what it takes to be welcomed as adults in our congregation. Centered on the Bible and Martin Luther, Confirmation is the gateway to a vibrant, living and more mature faith in Jesus the Christ.

Worship Schedule

>> Saturday 5:00 pm Worship, from the Heart. Join Pastor Joe and Jane for "non-traditional" worship in the St. John's gym. Casual dress. Highlights include an "interactive" message, your personal praises and prayer concerns and a variety of music played on an electronic keyboard. Service concludes with Holy Communion followed by refreshments and fellowship.

>> Sundays 8:00 a.m. & 10:30 am - Led by Pastor Joe and Music Director Robert McConnell. Traditional services with sermon & Holy Communion. At 10:30 a.m., highlights include: Pastor's children's message with an occasional visit from his two favorite hand puppets, Ludwig von Lobschta, Sebastian LeCrab, and Humphrey Willie Whale, and the St. John's Choir. After the 10:30 service, you are invited to stay for refreshments and conversation while the kids romp and play in the gym.
